My name is Margalida. I am from Mallorca (Balearic Islands), Spain. I obtained my degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Balearic Islands (UIB) in 2018. I received an award on my final degree project from the School of Philosophy and Literature in 2017 - 2018. My paper examined the different forms of the verb "soy", "estoy", "voy" and "doy" in a Diachronic Study of Dialectal Geography. I hold a Master’s degree in Modern Languages and Literatures from the UIB in 2019. During my undergraduate studies as well as in my master’s program I was a collaborator of the IEHM (Institute of Hispanic Studies in Modernity), I also collaborated in the COSER (Oral and Sonorous Corpus of Rural Spanish) project, with the Medieval Bible Group of my university and with the Corpus Mallorca (corpus integrated of documents from Mallorca written by Catalan speakers between centuries XVIII and XIX).

In 2019 I did my first communication in the 2nd Seminar of Philology and Philosophy Doctoral Students in the UIB. In the same year I also completed another communication in 19th International Conference of the association of Young Resesrchers of Historiography and History of the Spanish Language in the University of Huelva (Spain).

In the winter of 2017 / 2018 I worked as a documentalist at Hora Nova S.A., a newspaper company in Mallorca.  From 2017 to current, I am a board member of the NGO Campos Solidary (association of my town).

I arrived in Cixi in 2019 to teach Spanish as a second language to Tourism major students of the College of Science and Technology, Ningbo University. I love to teach Spanish, because I can see my students want to learn a lot. I am lucky to have this opportunity to come to China to work in my field of study. Being in China is also a wonderful opportunity for me to learn the Chinese culture, traditions, and its history.
